The Duties of the Au Pair are agreed by the Au Pair and the family during the selection process and these duties can differ greatly between families depending on their childcare priorities. In general terms an An pair's working week consists of anywhere in between 18 - 45 hours depending on the needs of the family.
The host family will provide a room, pocket money and at least one day of rest per week.
