1. What services does your site offer?

   Nanny GPS is a website that matches Au Pairs and Nannies to Families with childcare needs, in a secure and safe environment. For more information on our services please visit our Membership page

2. Are my contact details displayed on your website?

   No, your contact details are not displayed on this website.

3. Do you reference check the au pairs/nannies/families on your website?

   No, we do not undertake any checks on au pairs/nannies or families. Unfortunately, some people are not who they say they are. Before accepting any childcare jobs or making childcare offers to anyone, it is your responsibility to verify that you are dealing with a genuine person. When using the Internet be very mindful of scams and NEVER SEND ANY MONEY to anyone.

   Some tips on verifying people are genuine:

   • Verify the IP addresses of emails you receive from all references to make sure they originate from the place of work or country where the reference supposedly lives.
   • Google the name of the person and cross check what you find.
   • Check persons name and telephone number in the local telephone book - most international whitepages listings are now on the Internet.
   • When checking references make sure you are talking to who you believe they should be. If it's a family reference, check they are genuine family (google them, check in online telephone listings etc), if it's a college professor ring the main college/university reception and ask to speak to them.

   We currently accept payment in Euro (€), Pound Sterling (£) and US Dollar ($)

5. Is your payment processing secure?

6. How much does your site cost?

   There are two types of membership on Nanny GPS: Standard and Premium.

   Standard membership is free. Premium members have access to more advanced features for a small fee. The key features available to both membership types are summarized on our Membership page.

   The premium membership fee is €14.95 (£12.95 or US$19.95) per month. This gives you access to our secure messaging system so you can communicate with candidates (families) on your shortlist. You can sign up for premium membership for as short a time as you need. Simply cancel the monthly subscription before the next bill date to revert back to Standard membership.

   To upgrade to premium membership, either Sign On or Join Now to create your profile. Once logged in, click on My Account, select Upgrade and complete the form.

7. What is a Promotion code?

   From time to time we offer special discounts/promotions. Each promotion will have a unique promotion code. This promotion code needs to be added into the Upgrade form when you are upgrading to premium membership in order to qualify for the offer.
