Kids love outings and visiting new places for a special treat. Au Pairs and Nannies also appreciate some outings for keeping the children amused, especially during vacation time. With a little bit of forward planning these little treats don't have to cost a fortune.
Sometimes having some suggestions available for rainy days is a necessity. I've noticed in recent times our local cinemas now have a Kids Club offering movies at much reduced prices for both adults and children. It's worth checking out your local cinema to see if they have any specials.
In the past we've also become members of our local Zoo which is excellent value for money. For an annual membership fee, the children and their minders can visit the Zoo as many times as they like during the year. Perhaps you have a Zoo near you offering annual membership. This is something our Au pairs have loved doing with the kids.
